Hi.  My name is Cindy Olson.  I am one of the paralegals in our office.  A paralegal can help clients to develop their cases to obtain benefits.  Usually, when you call our office, you will talk with a paralegal.  I am also a non-attorney representative.  That means I am also allowed by Social Security to represent clients in court, because I have passed the testing to show that I know what I am doing.

I am excited that we are starting to do blogs, to help people understand more about Social Security benefits, and particularly disability benefits.  I will be sharing some of the things that I am experiencing with you on a monthly basis.

Helping people qualify for the benefits that they need and deserve is very enjoyable for me.  My background is in mental health, so I particularly enjoy working with people who suffer from mental illness.  Since most people with disabilities at least have some sort of depression, this includes nearly all of our clients.  I look forward to working with you, too.
