My name is Prestine R. and I’m 24 years old. I applied for disability in 2009, when I was 19 years old. I hired [another attorney] to represent me. When I was working with them, I never talked to the same person twice. When I went to court, they sent a law student to defend me! Of course I was denied. I never met or even talked to [the attorney].
In December of 2010 some random employee called me and said they couldn’t represent me anymore. They said I needed to find a new lawyer who dealt with Federal District Court, as they did not do that. I asked if they knew anyone who could help me, but they said no and hung up.
I started calling around to attorneys I found online. I finally called this guy in Colorado. He said he couldn’t help me because I live in Utah, but he said he knew of a great law firm in Utah. He told me they were really nice, very helpful and should be able to help me. He said the lawyer’s name was John Borsos. I called their office and talked to Stacy. I told them about myself and they agreed to help me. We set an appointment to meet.
I met John at his office and everyone there was so nice and very helpful. Every couple of months after that someone from the office would call me just to say “Hi” and ask how I was. That meant so much to me. I usually talked to the same person when they called, but if it was someone else I talked to, I always knew who it was, since I’d met everyone on the team. Sometimes they called me just to let me know the status of my case. They fought for me so hard.
When my case went to court, Cindy was right there by my side. She is an associate of John’s. They made me feel so comfortable in their care. After court and during the waiting time for the decision, they still fought for me and kept checking in with me. Then one day, Cindy called and said, “Guess what… We got a letter from Social Security and you have been approved!” I was like “THANK GOD!” I was very grateful to the Law Office of John Borsos for helping me! They told me that they were not going to just drop me now. They said, “This is where the fun starts.” They are still there for me for any questions I may have. I made an appointment to go talk to John about life after the wait ;).
I will tell anyone and everyone who needs a disability lawyer to call the Law Office of Captain John Borsos. He and his team will fight for you. I most definitely recommend John Borsos to everyone. John Borsos’s team will be there for you every step of the way. The team member names are John, Cindy, Stacy, Miriam & Shayna, the fantastic team of five ;). -Prestine R.
